Jeff looks back at his and Annie's moments and the connection they've had since the day they met. After Abed tells him that Rich rejected Annie, he knew what to do- to take the opportunity to tell Annie how he feels about her, and to let her know that he was wearing a facade, hiding from his feelings- because he knew that they weren't right considering their age gap. But through his looking back, he realizes he's willing to do anything and everything to somehow make their relationship work. :)
