Watch out, theres a daft Squirrel up the wall, Barking !!!

This is the first time I have ever seen a Squirrel climb up the side of a house and I certainly never knew it could climb right upto the roofline like this. It did not seem to have any trouble walking down the wall, I was expecting it to fall off the sheer surface.

The other odd thing is why is it making the odd noise?

My first thought was that there was another Squirrel in the garden or perhaps a cat but there were no other Squirrels or animals anywhere to be seen.

Do you know what its doing?
Why is it making this noise?

It makes you realise that it may be worth keeping your upstairs windows closed just in case it tries to climb inside.

They often do this when they feel threatened or they're trying to signal to other squirrels. I saw a cat near an oak tree and the squirrels were creating quite a bit of ruckus to scare it off.

There was one squirrel doing the same noise and moving the tail the same way overhere in NJ, USA. I don't know why. No other animals around and it did so for at least half an hour walking all over the garden until it got shot for noisy

I had a squirrel climb up my house today. My Dad then had to get the squirrel down as he doesn't it wanting to make a whole into the loft. My dad then decides to poke it with a stick. It then fell/jamp off the wall and landed on the ground. The squirrel then ran inside my house then climbed up two of my stairs. My Dad then opened the front door and the squirrel ran out side and ran away!

Why was it up there in the first place?

uhh when i see cats trying to get squirls in my neighboorhood it makes that noise xP

iwas once by to squirrels and they were doing that. then the 2 squirrels climbed in a tree and you should know what they did then... Its probly a mating call
