@popydude If I was one of the last of my species and my kin in the wild were constantly being hunted or having their natural homes destroyed despite laws and attempts to protect them, then I would gladly live in a zoo to help increase awareness about my family's plight. I would gladly give up my ovum (or sperm) in a hopes that one day my children or their children will run free as they were meant to be. But I am a member of a vastly overpopulated species and needn't worry about all that!
