yup, that's the movie it's from. Available on DVD in the states in both sub and dub. It's just a bear to find.

Mechanical Violator Hakaider beats Hakaida (tv Kikaida series) w/ ease.

@Syndicateman I wouldn't exactly call Kikaider kiddy.
Ishinomori has many adult works, he's just most known for his Rider franchise. All of his stuff though is pretty dark, it wasn't until later they started making it more poppy and universally kid friendly. Check out his work that started it all, Skull Man if you want an idea of how so. They recently remade it as a tv live pilot and anime.

its supposed to be the same as hakaider in the series but its all a cannon story. Thats what I dont like about it.

After seeing the movie a few months back, your are correct lol. There's hardly any relation to the original series, but none the less he is still badass.

Nah it came out in the usa too but it just got send straight to dvd. I cant remember when it came out seeing that I just found a old copy when I rented it.
