This NES version was defo an improvement over the Arcade version just a massive shame they didnt include a 2 player mode in the main game it would have been perfect then. Me and my older brother were horrified when he bought the game home and found out it was only a 1 player game......but Double Dragon 2 made up for this!!

someone should remake this... just like STREET FIGHTER HD REMIX... same shit.. but new graphics... don bother to add new gameplay.. .cuz original it´s perfect.

@megatroll Miyamoto's Super Mario Bros 2 was at the behest of Nintendo of Japan changed into a diffrent game against his own desire, doki doki panic panic, but Nintendo of America didn't like the Miyamotoless game NOJ presented as Mario 2, so they consoluted Shigeru on HIS DESIGN FOR MARIO 2! He didn't want to return to the mushroom kingdom for the sequel...that's the main reason it was very different.

Actually if you dig deeper you'll find out that Miyamoto designed it AS MARIO 2 and Nintendo of Japan forced him to change it against his desire..... SO IT REALLY REALLY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SUPER MARIO BROS 2!

Its funny because if you follow DD 1 and 2 the story pretty much goes that Jimmy was trying to kill his brother over some pussy and sent counts people to their deaths then Billy being a retard decides "Hey Let me team up with my brother who just tried to kill me." all over some pussy again...
