I completely agree with you. I read the Wiki entry on Can and was interested enough to look for this cover on here. Was utterly disappointed. It bears no comparison.

F**k this band and F***k the Flaming Lips. Wikipedia said both of them tried to cover Can, and both of them suck horribly. There is such a lack of creativity and musicianship in this cover, and that is the opposite of what Can was about.
