None of those weapons are Katanas. The larger of the two swords is a Wakizashi, and the smaller one is a Tanto. A set of Samurai Swords generally consists of 3 swords: a Tanto, a Wakizashi, and a Katana, The Katana is the largest and heaviest blade.

You would be correct if I was being an asshole or a nerd. I'm just stating a fact. Having knowledge of cultural or historical pieces does not constitute somebody as a nerd. However, I do believe that acting tough, or attacking people over the internet does; especially when somebody makes assumption of ones sexual history, when it is neither related, nor relevant. Don't try 1:15 with a sharp blade. You can and probably will cut your legs. Best do it with a practice sword or anything that can't kill you.

@soldier3941 Katana is a defined sword style that has a few variations of size.the size down is a Wakisazhi,the size up is a Tachi(slightly different style and then there is the O Dachi,the huge sword.

"ken" and "to" are the Japanese words for blade of any style.

"-you should be in a larger area when using a sword" he should but mommy probablly would't let him do this in the back yard so had to do it in his bedroom.

"-if the blade is sharp, you should be a little more careful"  we don't know if they were sharp but he did perform quite well even if it was "hollywood" swordplay not real sword use so he was obviouslly was carefull.

I don't endorse this swordplay but he didn't mess it up

Okay couple of things.

- you should never touch the blade of a sword

-you should always put the blade back in the saya after you use it, dont throw it down

-you should be in a larger area when using a sword

-if the blade is sharp, you should be a little more careful
