Let us say "we are very proud of Charice, because of her achievement that only other artist can dream". But for other Filipinos to say proud of Charice and proud of being Filipino, why? Charice achievement's is her own and because of her talent alone, and it is not collective. To say "proud to be pilipino" is a sort arrogance in associating themselves with her because she is famous. Come on, stop riding on her popularity to be something .... really and truly embarrassing to others.

i would luv to see half of the crowd being blacks and whites instead of almost all filipinos. i know its going to be difficult for princess cha for her being asian and is not a citizen, but i believe in her gift and that one day not just filipinos, but people of every color will come to love and adore her not for her looks, but for her music and that god given voice that can touch a persons soul.
