Many People know that Franklin County is not that big this is just a few places I like to go when im home.

I went to School at McCall Creek in 1960. Mr Tarver was principal. My Dad was born and raised in McCall Creek. His Dad had a store in Lucien. Used to get hair cut at Bill Loftons and Ice Cream at Byrds across from the Post Office. My Dad was Barney Lewis, his Dad was Elisha (Bud) Lewis. Use to go swimming in McCall Creek. Had another old Iron Bridge there then. We lived at the old "Walker" Place about 1 or 2 miles west of the Post Office on 84. Be at the McCall Creek reunion 3rd Saturday in May.

BTW..I lived down on Berrytown road...passed over the Old Iron Bridge many times, was there when they built the lake. I was formerly married to James Butler. And yes, Granny's has great burgers....Used to go down by Fenn's groc...new ownership now by Corbin, cross the highway and hit the beer store...folks up here have a hard time believing Frankin co. is totally dry...;)

@brewerboy Haha... Berrytown its all of 5 miles from home... Actually I dont think Steve owns the store anymore because of money issues

@brewerboy Haha thanks... Im glad it helped you, I hope to never move away in the near future. Franklin county has been my home for 20 years now and I don't plain to change that. You probably know my Grandfather L.G. who was Vocational Director back in the 80s at the High School.
