@20PINKluvr ......actually, yes or they will fall into Lake Michigan which would not be good for summer tourism.

@Megahammerheadshark .........in a bulding? It's the bridge that connects North Lake Shore Drive to South Lake Shore Drive. During the warming months, boats commute down the Chicago river and in order to reach Lake Michigan, they must raise the bridge which stops traffic on LSD for about 15 minutes.
