Shizukawa is central of Minami Sanriku town,which located by narrow bay.
Before or Aftre leaving Shizukawa Sta.you can see whole of town central.
In 11 Mar 2011 Tsunami attacked North of Japan.
So Everything that you had saw was conpletly destroyed.
About 10 tho people ware missing.

when the train stopped... it was the town of Minamisanriku which was all destroyed in the tsunami.....

Thanks for posting - everything up to the 3:05 mark is completely gone. Check out BBC at world-asia-pacific-12735023. This BBC (NHK World) video (55 second mark onwards) is taken from up the hill behind the tracks - at about 20 meters elevation. Google maps 38.681662,141.440423.
Most likely 5:55 onwards is also destroyed, as it is below 20m.

Very cool video, actually - and @kar1227 it was not advertised as having anything to do with the earthquake. It is the Kesennuma train line, between two towns to the south of Kesennuma. I enjoyed watching it, I've always wondered what a train ride in Japan would be like. Thanks for posting.
