Question 4, also known as TABOR II will force cuts to health care, public safety, and education. Maine needs to support those important programs in order to ensure prosperity for future generations.
TABOR has nothing to do with educational spending haha- this ad is a joke. TABOR simply limits the spending according to the population growth and inflation. Vote against TABOR if you want more government jobs. For for TABOR if you want more private jobs.
Without strong public schools, and high taxes, our kids won't be prepared for the good jobs that they will need after they graduate (and which they will be finding somewhere other than Maine because Maine drives businesses out whenever it can).

This is textbook DISINFORMATION!
First, TABOR cuts nothing.
Second - school budgets are already approved at the local level by the voters, thanks to Gov Baldacci and the Legislature's School Consolidation.
This is a cute enough commercial - but it's trying to generate panic with complete disregard for the facts.
TABOR limits government growth, so it grows no faster than Maine peoples' incomes.
Simple as that!!!
TABOR cuts nothing, but the unions are still terrified anyway.
