Get more gifting ideas from Home Made Simple at http://www.homemadesimple.com/en-US/Crafts/Pages/Homemade-Gifts.aspx. Lovely wrapping becomes a special part of giving and receiving a gift. With a little bit of effort and some know-how, you can create a lot of drama with just ribbons and bows. Start by taking your ribbon and measuring four times the depth, then four times the width. Then you want to give yourself at least a foot for the bow -- it's better to have too much than too little. Now start with your gift wrapped box, facing down. Take your ribbon and slide it underneath. Then have it come up the sides, crossing the ribbon at the top, pulling tight, and turning the gift around. Now you're ready for your bow. Tying a classic bow is as easy as tying your shoelaces. You want to make sure that your bows are equal, and tie off the ends for a nice clean cut. For a nice extra added touch, put a little sprig of rosemary underneath your bow for that little extra touch of sweetness.
