Why does everyone HATE pawn shops? Most pawn shops are run by decent law abiding citizens, who follow proper procedures and regulations delegated by the State. Most are also very honest, and tell you that if you do not wish to pawn your item at a high interest rate, then DON'T! More importantly, most pawn owners work closely with the police helping to catch the bad guys attempting to pawn stolen items. It's a respectable business just like any other. I don't understand why people hate pawn?
