She has control over her omega level telepathy, and recently she gained control of the phoenix force too. The only things she couldnt control was the early stages of the phoenix's manifestation in her.

Well then you would be wrong, Jean is an omega level telepath/telekinetic. An omega level means the strongest mutant in the universe with that particular trait, so her telepathy is stronger than Xaviers. This is BEFORE the phoenix force permanently infused with her. If you didn't know the phoenix force has unlimited power, it literally eats stars from the past to sustain itself. Whats magneto going to do? Hit her with a metal stick? Bah, she will implode him molecularly.
