  • Never did get the footpads, I personally see no need whatsoever for them and someone would have to show me different I guess. I tell ya this is a nice shovel it takes a BEATING and is the best shove I have for a root situation. A must have tool??? I dunno I guess I must have it...lol Honestly, I am glad I own it and would suggest to anyone wanting a SERIOUS relic digging tool look no further than this one!!

  • plastic or rubber footpads??

  • I have yet to get the footpads, been using mine without and can't see where I need 'em thus far....But I believe they are plastic...(the footpads)

  • The shovel weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces i think

  • I weighed my individual shovel...don't know why, but even though the website says 51 ounces mine comes in a shade lighter than that...maybe without foot pegs?

  • Awesome shovel, i'm glad i told you about it

  • Yeah me too.....I think I'm gonna like it, time will tell ;)

  • @snidedog2004 When I order mine, I will be getting the footpads. Why? Because of the ever growing HOLE on the sole of my expensive boots. HH!

  • Did you ever get the foot pads. I have seen other that have made them out of an old tire. Just cut them to fit and drilled 2 holes and bolted it down. Now that you have had it for a while what is your take on it? Is it a must have tool? Whats your likes and dislikes? Thanks for the vid.

  • Great lookin U.S. made tool..That is made to last

  • @snidedog2004 yep foot pads are rubber and weight like 2 more ounces
