  • It's commonly brought up in papers on work psychology that when firms - and the psychologists hired by the management - invite the emploees to always think positively about their problems, such as "I see this problem as a challenge", people become depressed and burned-out in the end, because it's not okay to talk about or feel sad or frustrated.

  • That guy really doesn't take into account the negative consequences of staying positive all the time.
