  • @slapshot58 nah, we are far away from the oil. Hopefully if it does come this way wont be too bad. time will tell though.

  • how fast does it go

  • Depending on load, 1 person 10 gal of fuel 55mph, usual 2 on board with about 20 gal of fuel, 53 mph.

  • This video was 40 mph, but only at low rpm of 4000

  • How much does the boat weight?

  • The boat is 1050 lbs and the motor is 369 lb

  • 1989 175 rude never rebuilt runs like a demon ,,i will never buy anything other than a rude again had a 150 merc that needed to be rebuilt by the end of its second season,,

  • look /watch?v=Jwm83q4mjQA

  • does the 115 hp etec HO go faster than the normal 115 etec? i have an evinrude ficht thats 115 hp and its the one bombardier fixed from 2003 and its fast as hell!!! it pushes my 18 foot cuddy cabin fishing boat 55 mph on full throttle when i'm alone but if i bring my dad or some friends it slows down to 52 or 51 mph... i'm getting about 6,300 rpm's on full throttle is this too high? i have a viper prop from evinrude i think it's 19 pitch and 15 inches across? i have to check when i get home...

  • Great video!

Check out the Evinrude E-TEAM channel for some more videos of Evinrude E-TECs in action.

  • so nice motor!!! nice look

  • Amen dude. Merc sells, but they're just not the quality you wanna see in an outboard that's supposed to be better then the E-TEC

  • They have to give away Mercs to get anyone to buy them anymore, don't they? That's why Brunswick bought all the boat lines, no one would buy their engines, otherwise. Too many mechanical things on them to BREAK. Right out of the box, my friend's had to be warranteed. Forget it.

  • nice motor i just got a 115 Mercury 4 stroke
