3 Brothers, 3 Friends, 1 Love: Chapter 11 Part 2

Joe's POV

"So did you enjoy the movie?"
"Yeah. It wasn't really scary though." she lied.
"Yeah right! You were practically in my lap you were so scared."
"Was not!" she yelled while pushing me.
"Whatever you say." I flirted.

We continued walking until we came across an old picnic table. We sat down opposite each other and I decided this was the time to tell her...everything.

"Carson, I need to tell you something."
"Sure."
"Just don't interrupt me until I've finished ok?"
"Ok."
"Since I met you I'm sure it was obvious we have this amazing chemistry."

She snorted right at this point but I'm sure she felt the same. I stood up and began pacing - which I always did when I was nervous.

"When we kiss you can't deny it's amazing. And I'm a nice guy and you're extremely beautiful. Trey isn't right for you. I know this because we're perfect for each other."
"Joe please. You can't try to change my mind. The only reason I'm on this date is because I lost the bet."
"Then look my in the eyes and tell me honestly that you didn't enjoy tonight. That when I had my arm around you, you didn't feel like there was anybody else in the entire world apart from the two of us. And when I kissed you, the passion we both felt, and gave, was true."

She sat there stunned after my speech. I guess she couldn't lie.

Carson's POV

You wouldn't believe the words coming out of Joe's mouth. I had ownly known him for a couple days and this was technically our first date. He was basically saying he had fallen for me. It all hit me at once and I became even more confused over the whole Trey/Joe scenario. Why did I find it so hard to choose who was right, when I knew in my heart that he was standing right infront of me!

"Joe. I don't have anything to say to that." I confessed.
"Then how about we don't talk."

He leaned in a gently kissed me. It was short but ohh, so amazing. He pulled away and I left my dream world were everything was perfect. I didn't have to make any decisions, Paramore constantly played in the background and boys could never be jerks. I sat there collecting my thoughts and feelings before realizing what I had to do. In the movies the girl always discovers how she feels when she kisses the guy. Worth a try right? I stood up and came face to face with Joe a smile playing on my lips. I grabbed his shirt coller and pulled him closely before kissing him back with the same intense passion we always had when we kissed. I moved my hands to the back of his neck, and he gently placed his hands on my waist. We remained like this for at least 2 minutes. It was seriously intense, but never quite got heavy. When I pulled away my mind was buzzing. When I was with Joe everything was great. He always made me feel good and treated me like a princess. He obviously liked me and we got on well. But when I was with Trey I had that excitement of anything been possible. He was older which made him more mysterious as I couldn't read him as well as Joe. He didn't always notice my clothes or my hair but that was just him being a guy.

"Joe. Can you take me home please?" I asked him.

He nodded and we walked silently back to the car and continued the silence until we reached my house. I climbed out the car and ran inside without uttering a single word. No thankyou. No goodbye.

Joe's POV

Right now I'm a little confused. My date with Carson was going great. We kissed and it was a-mazing. Then she kissed me back and I thought everything was going great. Then we kinda went south. She didn't say anything. We just walked in silence. Drove in silence. Now I'm driving back home....in silence. I think I may have gotton through to her about Trey but, I suppose I'll have to wait to find out.
