  • It is very disrespectful to leave an unsheathed sword lying on the ground. I hope I saw that incorrectly

  • The other answer is to slide the sword as you cut, so you slice through. Look at what you practice cut afterward, and if you are doing it right, you slice all the way through. If you do it wrong your target tears. Good to practice with a bokken, and you can tell if you have used it right or wrong by the sound of the air around it.

  • first you need to have th ssword then you take the sword and swing it then if you have controlled your blade well anouph then it will still be in your hand so that you can swing it agin
