  • @EasyEnergy before you log in(or logout if you are already logged in), click the user you want to use, at the bottom there should be a list of window managers(you probably only have GNOME and Xterm in there) click xterm, and login, now you are running in "terminal mode" (to start the graphical ...stuff just write startx and press enter.)

  • Hey guys. Is linuks always with the desktop? Is there any way to run linuks without desktop?

  • @diees try the 11.04 release, wireless card support was improved if you still want to use it.
