Cool Lovin' Baby - Chet Smith & MT Handid

While Bill Kirchen is not exactly the starched wrangler jean prema donna that everyone can't get enough of, he is blood and guts country music, and this song, "Cool Lovin' Baby", is a fine example of real country music from his first solo release "Tombstone Every Mile".

While many musicians I've known combine arrogance with refusal to leave their own particular "comfort zone", Chet Smith was game for charging into anything...from gospel to rockabilly to jazz to rock. He is missed by all who knew him. Chet formed and named this band MT Handid...kind of a free market Libertarian jazz for bikers hillbilly blues Americana thing...kind of...

Chet served in the Army in north Korea, and was one of the initial developers and testers of the iris based missle guidance systems.
