thanks for the post.. The MP10 is mor ethan acceptable with 64 note polyphony, it is capable of layering another soound and also splitting the keyboard.

If you require more polyphony please have a look at the X-pro series. They have 128 note polyphony, a smiliar sound set and a lot more.

@sleazyweaz The MP10 has approximately 50 more sounds, stronger string and orchestral tones, as well as 20 more watts of power to the speakers, and a higher quality wooden body and finish.

Hi....I want to get a MP but im worried about the hammer action keys ....Is the fact that all of the keys have the same weight a big deal..?? Do i get confused if i play with an acoustic one..?? and how does is perform in compare with yamaha GHE action...?? THANK U

According to this video demo the only thing I was impressed with was the grand piano. I'm a composer as well as a pianist and I am mainly interested in string instrumentation layering and brass instrumentation sound like french horn,trombone,trumpet etc. I was not impressed with the orchestra demo sound.

Kurzweil has the best string and orchestral samples! Absolutely brilliant. Now if they could get there piano samples up to date. The Triple Strike has been out for a LONG time.

I love Kurzweil products. When I toured many years ago, I used a K1000SEIIext., and was even given a wonderful, black cloth jacket with the logo stitched on the back by a factory representative. I wore it often, proudly. That said, with teaching my children in mind, I have one question: 64 notes polyphonic? Isn't that a little skimpy, especially once you start layering sounds? Has there been any discussion, or is there any means, of doubling the polyphony, maybe as an add-on? Thanks!
