On the same day as the clothes donation, we decided to help a boy who was very sick on that very day. We had him transferred to a nearby clinic in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Afterwards, we went out of our way to buy some necessities for him and his family. They were forced out of their home because some rich Cambodian guy happened to own the land and wanted to sell it.
Buddha bless you and your family savannara. It really touches me. Thanks!

Really, come on. I'm not a rich person by no means...not even close. I wanted to give back to where I came from because my family and I went through the evil Khmer Rouge regime and witnessed all the terrible things in life.
We can make a difference to at least ONE person in our lifetime. I have to be very thankful for the American couple who sponsored us to America during the Khmer Rouge era. Who knows, I might not be writing this entry right now.

I think the boy is doing fine, I have no contact with him after the visitation, but my Cambodian cousin, a nurse there, told us that he's doing better.
