control of the instrument..they're obviously over-blowing and using a lot of pressure which is horrible technique for lead playing, which is my forte.
I'm more than sure Dr. Cord would completely agree with me on my comments made above.

Back to trumpet though...You're completely right about the solo, it is pretty difficult and it is obvious that is a good player, but he's not great, or VERY good. I'm not trying to be rude, and no offense to you or the player, but he has an extremely thin, bright sound (sounds like the super shallow mouthpiece is doing that though).
