@formula90II Nanoha and Fate are actually S+ rank mages, limited to AA.
In season 1 and 2 it was stated that Nanoha and fate had the power of an AAA, the same rank as Chrono, but he obviously knew how to use it beter at the time.

The show has stated a few times that magical power numbers aren't everything.
Rank is also different from Power numbers.
Chrono is lower in power number than both Nanoha and Fate yet in the 2nd season he held the A rank, Yet in the 3rd season Nanoha and Fate both hold an A Rank.

i think nanoha is strong but will nanoha win hayate?since hayate magic power is a rank higher than her i'm not sure.but in nanoha 1st season nanoha win fate and at that time she has less magic power than fate.

Nanoha AND Fate together as a COUPLE adopted Vivio... making them BOTH her MOTHER as a group ... >_> read more into the anime instead of just watching it for the action. You should also note on how much Nanoha and Fate ignore everyone else for moments at a time. Read the manga too. >_> *is siked that Nanoha Force is coming out ... though its slow*
