@Ikarosus They are republic citizens and not associated with any other nation, and they are not for now but in general under the goverments juristiction, they take orders from the chancellor and senate!!!!

@reviewreviewer1 That's not a good comparison. While the Jedi are sorta affiliated with the Republic, they are not the Republic's "national police force". In fact they're presented as being quite seperate and independet from the government, only working closely together with the government for the time being, because the circumstances require it.

@Ikarosus They are a national police force they are goverment officials of a nation, they indeed don`t care foir other nations, cause being a hero means helping the people who accept you as such. Also they sent JEDI TO NEGOTIATE WIT GUNRAY, EY HAD THEM PROTECT PADME, FFIGHT THE SEPERATISTS, SAVED THE CHANCELLOR, etc, btw sorry for Caps.
