  • wonderful soundtrack ...

  • @DarkSpartan102 Thankyou :D

  • @snuttmester Takk

  • @HxMxOx have you studied karate or are you just making an observation based on watching this video? The reason I ask is that just this week I learned the proper way to do a high block in Wado which is very different than what I learned in Goju. Instead of crossing the hands before raising the blocking arm, we are taught to bring the forearm up from the centre as if you were doing an upper cut punch and then pivot out which blocks the attack. It's effective as a transitional move to a strike.

  • @majin2912

It's pretty much useless as a block in any case.

  • Go away and come back when you're at least shodan. There should be some kind of rule that prevents know-nothing (no offence meant!) mudansha from posting videos to show their "skill".

  • @masterjingo And the Haichi Daichi should be more like the Uchi Kuchi! And your Ubee Doobie should stay low like in Inky Dinky!

  • no tectike

  • Even though it seems simple, Jodan Uke is something most karateka can refine. I'm always trying to optimize the distance and angling so the form is most effective. Too close to the head and it's useless. Too far away and it's also less effective.

  • My belts are like this - White (Achieved) - Yellow (Skipped) - Red (Current) - Orange - Green - Blue - Purple - Brown - Brown (Two Stripes) - Brown (One Stripe) - Junior Black Belt and we do Wado Ryu aswell and I need to do Pinan Nidan for my Orange belt :( (Ps. i'm 12 >.>)

  • traditional Pinan Nidan the last four moves which are supposed to be from Shiko Dachi without rising, using Shuto uchi technique... with regards to the Neko ashi dachi the weight transition should be approx 80 - 90% on the rear foot.
