Selamlar, anladigim kadariyla yay yapimi için en uygunu akçaagaç. Yayin ölçülerini bulabilecegim bir yer de var mi acaba, sitenize baktim ama maalesef bir sey bulamadim.
Bir de boynuz olarak ne kullanmamizi tavsiye edersiniz, ankole watusi bull dedikleri mandanin 70-80 cm civarindaki boynuzlari uygun mudur, yoksa baska bir cins mi olmali. Saygilar.

@AksakDemir 70-80 cm boynuz bulursanız bize de haber verin :) Yay yapımı ile ilgili Y. Metin Aksoy hocaya basvurmanizi tavsiye ederim. Kendisinin e-posta adresi sitede mevcuttur. Taliplere once bir ev odevi verir, ardndan hala devam ederseniz ogrencisi olabilirsiniz.

@turkisharchery yurtdisinda yasadigim için maalesef ögrencisi olma sansim yok galiba, ama e-postal vasitasiyla yardimci olursa çok memnun olurum, en kisa zamanda kendisiyle irtibata geçecegim, tesekkür ederim.

@AksakDemir Hocanin Cin'de bile ogrencisi var, hic dert etmeyin. Ancak bir kac ogrencisi atolyesinde ders alma sansina sahip. Digerleri sizin gibi.

Maple is the best wood for bowmaking. The "fathers" say the same... The wood must be straight w/o any little tree ring.
