The first part of iron fist training. It's good if you follow this with some form of meditation. Hold off on asking me the secret part of this program until you have gotten to the 100 reps a day.it builds muscle (tightening the fist and the tighter the weapon the harder it becomes), it develops the neurotransmitters that trigger the reaction-- making you faster, and it streangthens the cartalige and tendons in the fist. when you get the second part to the training it will also develop stronger chi. along with chi is something called "kime" in japanese. The approximate translation is focus. this is developed in abundance in iron fist training both mental and physical kime are developed. kime just makes us very efficent. for example try lifting up a solid object with one arm-- now reach over and feel you tricep muscle-- its probably tense too this is not good for fighting. when one completes iron fist training. there shouldnt be any antagonistic muscles holding one back and weakening the punch. that is why it is very important to relax all the muscles of the upper body during the training. when the practitioner gets to the rock bag training there may be some deformation but not too much. the rock bag training also develops kime by teaching us which muscles to relax and which to tense. the rocks also harden the bones by making microscopic breaks in them and allowing the body to repair them.
About dynamic tension:
The first is strength and power comes down to how the body is geared internally. This is what you are born with. If you could look beneath the arm of a world class athlete you would see what really matters, twitch fibres and tendon attathments. If you have much better gearing you will be a lot stronger than another guy the same size.

Look at a chimpanzee with its skinny arms and its 4 times stronger than we are. They have amazing tendon gearing.

Added muscle helps around the tendons, but at some point if you have enough gearing the muscle matters less and less.

Thank you.
