  • i play this game when i was 9 yrs old good times...

  • Wow a bun sandwich

  • I can tell the hot dog right off and I know the white thing's supposed to be the egg, but the other two, well, I dunno...

    (French fry and ketchup packet?)

  • I have read about 2600 BurgerTime and the "no flicker" rule for M-Network games, which forced restrictions on the programmer. Still, while admiring the innovative approach of using missles, I wonder if the "fancy" effect of continuously resizing the missle doesn't create a sort of flicker effect, itself. Perhpas, in this case, it would have been better for Mattel to allow the programmer to use real sprites that look like the intended character, and just accept the flicker as a necessary evil.

  • Welcome to just cause a game exists, doesn't mean it should be done on a certain system. Exhibit A, BurgerTime for the VCS. As the Atari could only have 2 moving sprites at the same time (hence flickering on the original VCS pac-man), Blue Sky Rangers had to go to using the "missle" sprite to get 4 on the screen (hence 1 hot dog and 3 flickering lines)
