Sugarcane Lover

A Dead style Laguna Beach rocker from the 80's: Sugarcane Lover, set to a slideshow of my bands, friends, and classmates I grew up with in laguna Beach, Calif. We worked on this tune off and on for a few years, with a lot of different Laguna musicians and arrangements, we left it as it is here. We sent it to Rock Scully in the hope that the Grateful Dead would do the song, and as bad luck would have it, Jerry got busted for something to do with a powdery substance?, so Rock asked Keith to change the words a little as to not point to a powdery substance, but Keith would not hear of that, so we all lost on that one, but here is the song as it was back then, Please, enjoy it as much as we do.
