@theshooter2000 True, Goku would already be dead when he lands the first attack. The only person that can even stand a chance against Kenshiro is Mr. Satan.

02:17 "... 708 hidden power points..." LOL! 708!? How about 5, 10 or even 35 if you want to put up a really big number. But no, 708! Kenshiro admits if you even give him a toe nail, your head will somehow explode.

@theshooter2000 Look at the Scorpion King, he lived in a similar society not unlike Ken's world and he went from being an anti-hero to a giant scorpion monster that had to be killed by Brendan Frasier. Cruelty begets cruelty, it corrupts good ppl who think they are doing good. I'm sorry, but though Ken is doing good by killing his foes sometimes it seems he enjoys it; should you enjoy killing anyone, even if they're evil? It'll warp your soul. I say kill em quick and be done with it.

Perhaps you and I have a different view of humor, which makes this argument pointless as it is totally subjective. Even Buronson has said in an interview that the story is downright sad, which I agree with 100%.

@dark7element I don't remember Souther's minion, but yes I do remember Raoh's bathing guy, but even that one was somewhat drama filled (sorry I just watched the entire series for the 5th time in about a month so my memory is blurred). Pretty much when Ken goes underground w/Shu til the end of the arc, it's serious. The underlings are funny, but nowhere near the comedy of the Shin arc where damn near every episode had funny dialogue. I thought most of Shura was serious, but Gento had fun moments.

@theshooter2000 I don't know about that. Perhaps they're a bit more serious, but both Souther and Raoh had tons of goofy-looking and acting villains-of-the-week serving them. Remember Souther's minion whose tongue was always hanging out? Or Raoh's minion whose martial art was centered around BATHING FREQUENTLY? Or the guy in plate armor who shouts "I'm already dead!" in a ridiculous voice as he explodes? The latter half of the series had no shortage of comical villains who died hilariously.

@hulkmeister23 Goku and Superman did not live in a nuclear wasteland. In debates I often tell people Goku wouldn't last in Ken's world even at his level of power because in Ken's world, everyone fights to kill. Ken has a moral compass, he doesn't kill people that don't deserve it. Often he waits til after witnessing a murder to condemn the criminals to hell. Only those that kill innocents. Ken is called the Savior so in a sense he is the moral compass of the world. Cross his laws and you die.
I can feel testosterone overflow in my body every time I watch Hokuto no Ken. I feel llike a MAN!!!
