This may be a strategy depending how you look at it =P.
This is a way that i found to combine the pivot, control stick shooting of the gamecube for Re4, with the cursor aim of the Wii for Re4.
I thought that maybe some ppl still liked the pivot shooting from the older versions but hated the little laser sight, which leads to less accuracy and wasted ammo.
But also, i figured some ppl just can't get used to the wii point and aim controls, but they like the new larger cursor and the fact that it turns red and makes the wii remote rumble a lil' when something you aim at can be shot. Resulting in less wasted ammo. Plus the Wii has enhanced graphics of the gamecube and all the extra content of the PS2
Step one: Sighting In
Just point the wii remote at the screen and find the closest point in the middle or wherever is comfortable for you. Then (while still aiming at that point) put your hand over the sensor on the front of the remote. (Keep the remote pointed away from the Tv until the end of step two).
Step two: Covering
This is very simple, just place something over the sensor that will keep it from being seen and that stay over it. In this case i just use electrical tape. (Idk if scotch tape would work though). Remember don't point the remote at the screen at all til' this step is finished, or you'll have to redo step 1.
Step Three: Test It Out
I just showed how it works in the video.
Note: The only bad thing about this is you have to keep redoing it everytime you turn the game off and on.
So there's how you can combine both of the control schemes for resident evil 4. Plus you can still do the quick knife feature exclusive to the Wii.
Comment and rate if you liked it!
Update: This doesn't work in the De Lago (Lake) fight. So just remove the cover and reset after you kill that salamander prick.
You just have to remove the nunchuck and put the GC Controler to play :D
