Luther was simply the best nobody could touch him when it came to covering a song. He made the song his song.... And just have to say he never made a song that didn't sound great even the last track of the album...

@HebrewHammer631 .. another "STOLE" idiotic comment. MUSIC is a business. If A writer PUBLISHES the work it is to engage into contracts so others will perform it. This way the royalties will earn the writers PROFIT from their efforts. NO ONE STEALS a song. They pay money to use the material. FATS DOMINO said about PAT BOONE, "I only wish he had recorded 2 or 3 more of my songs" Boone made FATS rich. Federal laws created this royalty system. If you want to wholly own a song YOU DONT PUBLISH

@HebrewHammer631 With all deu respect but Luther Vandross never stole this song. To steal is to take something and claim it yours. He never claimed this song his as in he wrote it. To sing another persons song and acknowledging that you didn't write it is a cover.
