  • The solution for how to teach your child about the dangers of traffic is an excellent one. It serves a dual purpose - it saves the parent from smacking, but also it teaches the child why they have to be careful around traffic. I told my friend about this and she used this approach with her 3 year old daughter and my friend told me it worked for her.
