"Ja-Da": Red Garter Jazz Band Sydney 1971, featuring Bob Barnard

A rare glimpse of probably the best Dixieland jazz band ever to play in Australia. The Red Garter Jazz Band were the house band for the 1971 variety show, "The Red Garter With Bobby Limb." Recorded at Channel 10 Sydney, the show featured the finest Australian jazz talent for the times, including Bob Barnard, Jack Grimsley and Errol Buddle backed by the pick of the Sydney studio musicians. This is the only photo and audio in existence and there is no surviving video footage.
