This piano piece shows Filipino composers are par with the likes of Chopin and Lizst. Maganda ang rendition kaya lang napupuna tinutugtog ito ng funeral hearse sa Pinas.

I used to sing this when I was young..."In a quiet village many miles away/there I had a sweetheart known as my dear little maid/Once we had a quarrel that made us apart..." Thank you for bringing back good memories.

Nice playing! No, let me rephrase that - Superb playing! It reminds me of my late mom playing it while I was still very young (circa 1950's) and also my aunts who play the piano as well.
I noticed the errors because I know the piece by heart but don't worry, it just shows that you are perfectly human!
Are there any more familiar pieces you uploaded to Youtube?
