Sorry, but Sonny Turner is nowhere near the singer that Tony Williams was. Tony was outstanding!

@lachikachilena57 , you must watch Midnight in Paris, in that movie your idea about wrong time of burn is described very well, and in common is very good film about nostalge about the past

This is from a Platters LP from 1969. Lead singer on this record is Sonny Turner. He was the replacement for Tony Williams, and had a few big hits as the lead.."I Love You A Thousand Times", Washed Ashore", "With This Ring (I'll Always Love You" and some lesser ones...they continued to perform in Europe. Tony eventually went out on his own and put on very good show. Saw him in Bermuda in 1979 and many times since in Las Vegas where he still performs regularly. His Platters work Oldies concerts.

this is not to slow ... my man has me in his arms on the dance floor ... his breath slow and deep ... is heart pounding hard and low ... he say's "do you" ... this wonderful song gets me there (the 60's) with this great singing voice... )

The original Platters were not around in 1990....shouldn't put up a photo of the original Platters with this date...
All other 'Platters' were just poor imitations...like this one...
It's bad!
Listen to Tony Williams when he was young...a truly gifted voice....
Sadly, drugs took it's toll on him...
