Bowser when he dies: Bro
Bowser when he comes back: Ken.

Poor bowser, right in the dragonballs.

Gah, it was only a matter of time until Brawl decided to give you a DUD Timer, making YOU slow and breaking the combo.

What would happen if two Zeldas hit bowser on both sides at approx the same time? Would the forces cancel out? Would he just go straight up? You should try it

It seems to me that they hit Bowser at the same time but the game considers the Zelda with the lower player number's (like P2 vs P4) attack to hit "first", followed by the other Zelda's attack. This would have Bowser prepared to get sent away from the first Zelda but since the second Zelda attacked "after" the first Zelda, Bowser's trajectory changes and gets sent away from the second Zelda.

It does work. There's a video named "Cap.Falcon + Timer = LOL"
The video's ID is nfUpctFjPrA.
A variation of it with bumpers can be seen at /watch?v=GzcdvsgjFpA.

Zelda's forward and backward aerial attacks (a.k.a. "Lightning Kick") stun both her and the enemy for longer than usual attacks when they hit correctly. Since Zelda gets stunned too, it doesn't allow her to do anything either. But with the timer's effect, the opponent is stunned for a longer time while Zelda is still stunned for the normal amount of time which leaves her time to do another attack.
