I respectfully disagree with kevcantstop on this one... as far as javert is concerned I have never seen anyone do the role as well as Philip Quast. In my opinion he becomes him and does not just act

Javert is great! I think the Valjean needs to sound less over the top, though. The whole thing just turns into a bit of a shouting match...too bad you can't always get the time to rehearse all the little things.
