  • Yes, one 2000 Insight battery and one 2004 Civic battery. They are interchangeable and work well together. The grid charger is a very simple 350mA X 2 design. Currently I'm working on a custom replacement using 48 subpacks out of a 2008 Ford Escape. Hopefully it will be in place in two or three weeks.

  • Are you running a Grid Charger, and a second Hybrid Battery. If so, please make a video showing the additional battery. Great video :-) I'm driving a 2000 Honda Insight and averaging 58mpg with the AC on at all times- great car. I would like to add a Prius hybrid battery and Manual IMA(MiMA). Insight Central is a fantastic forum.
