  • Didn't know you could cold cook something! Trying this out for the 1st time. Just went in the fridge 1/2 an hr ago. Is it ok to shake up more than 12 hrs later? I'm not getting up at 5 AM to shake this up! Will do at 8.

  • @anailelianacarbajal Sure, you can shake it and/or stir it as often as you like. I, myself, taste test the brew from time to time, and give it a stir. I don’t think you can over stir it, but you can under stir it. Stirring keeps it slushy, and that is the magic of it. Be careful to save some for your guests, if any. You don’t want to meet folk at the door with a silly grin and an empty plastic bucket? Don’t ask me how I learned that!

  • Great video, any suggestions on how to make a strawberry version?

  • @kendalljose Well, Ken; it ought to be easy enough to do with any fruit of your choice. But don’t go wild on me. Instead of a lime concentrate, you could use a strawberry concentrate. But that might overpower the taste. You could use some fresh or frozen strawberries and cut them up into a size that suits you, and mix them into the slush. It might be best to wait until last, after the mix is frozen and you break it up into a slush. I think you have opened the door to experimentation! RR

  • LMFAO!!!! This guy sounds like a hillbilly but sure is entertaining! "Pour some beer in it, shucks I do!"

  • @xxpreludexx Thank you pardner. It’s not easy to affect this elocution with the style and pun ash to carry it off. RR

  • Bet you could speed up the process if you had to by putting the mixture in an ice cream machine and churning it for a few hours

  • Thanks! I made the regular and strawberry this weekend. I used a strawberry daiquiri concentrate and then mixed in some strawberry margarita mix as it was thawing, thanks for the great recipe!
