  • @TheEvangrinder Signing up to serve your nation does not include being subjected to intentional and criminal behavior that results in death due to incompetence and negligence... let alone the deaths of your loved ones. For you to say that we (as I am a retired Marine) knew that there was a possibility that the water I was drinking ON BASE, provided by our own government was contaminated and that I could potentially die from it is not only ignorant but entirely obscene. Moron

  • seriously shit happened in the 1970s what else is the man supposed to do its not like he told them get the fuck over it shit happens at least there still alive what about the marines that are not you knew the possibilities of what could happen in the corps when you signed up

  • After seeing the documents that confirm their knowledge of the toxic water, I wonder to myself how this guy can sleep at night. Is your rank that important to you? Trade the leafs in for a backbone. Russ Mantz Sarcoma

  • haha, the general is reading from a teleprompter! Wow the government and military don't care about those that serve!

  • They keep trying to blame an off base drycleaner and come to find out a big majority of the contaminations were from improper storage and or deliberate dumping of chemicals on the ground. I want to know why I was never notified by the Marines as to the problem at Lejeune. I accidently found out by reading a new blurb on another site and started researching the onformation and registering with the ATSDR and then and only then did I gewt a packet of information from the Commandant .

  • This general was lintentinaly talking around the subject. He was doind what he was ordered to do... Confus and obfuscate the subject. Lets se him have the illnesses and loss of children at birth or life long health problems and the men in question in this piece had a disease that is very rare in men let al.one healthy young men and what do all of them have in commomn you ask... They were all stationed at camp lejeune or were at Lejeune during the water contaminantion.

  • Hexavalient Chromium. Welding Residue. Highest lead content in their water in the world. Many problems, many excuses.

  • wow and to think i will be joining the military , lol im bringing my own water from home.

  • He wasnt even smooth thinks to much with each response

  • @1:14 $15 million to study..thats the problem..Scienctific Studies,One group screws up so they can see what happens then another group can try to fix it. JOBS ?
