Rage (PC): Update 1: Texture Cache

This is part of the new update for Rage. It includes 3 new options. The new VSync option which allows you to remove any screen tearing. The new Anisotropic Filter option which allows you to increase the anisotropic texture filtering and the option I am showing in the video, because its my favourite out of the three, is the new Texture Cache option which allows you to increase the texture cache size to keep more texture data in video memory which stops at least 90% of the awful texture pop-ins we have been seeing since launch. Finally.

Q6600 CPU, 4GB RAM, 8800GTS 640 GPU, WIN7 X64.

What console? Seriously Id? FUCKING CONSOLE PORT, they didnt even know that by increasing the fov, you see less one the screen and there is less pop in that way or they were just way too lazy to even do that

Used a custom cfg but at a certain part of the game, it justgets filled with artifacts, cant play

It occurred to me today...I have a feeling that Id might either announce that they are closing up, or file for bankruptcy in the near future. Rage is the only thing they've produced in almost a decade and it has managed to be both a pile of mediocrity in general and a half-baked turd of an insult to PC gaming in specific.

According to Wikipedia, no developers have licensed Id Tech 5. Id was the best, and personally I hope Carmack wakes up. But at this rate, how can Id survive?

I also have a TRANSCODE GPU option. This patch is very nice, on my old PC i can play on FULLHD TV with 60fps without any lags. For those who cants turn on vsync, force it in NVIDIA panel,cause on the latest drivers specially for this game vsync forced OFF (KARMAK WATTA FACK!), how much did u pay to NVIDIA 4 this joke, fucking CLOWN XD)))
