The Gathering - No One Spoke (The west Pole)

The Gathering recruited Silje Wergeland of OCTAVIA SPERATI,
as their new vocalist. The drummer Hans Rutten commented:
"Silje has been the singer of Norwegian band OCTAVIA SPERATI
and various other projects for eight years.
She did a superb job (in the new LP from The Gathering,
"The West Pole"). This album has two talented
invited vocalists: the Dutch and Anne Van Den Hoogen
Mexican Marcela obvious (the STREAM OF PASSION)
musicians and other guests. "

Hans continued, "What can we say about 'The West Pole?"
It's a vital album of rock, atmospheric and extroverted,
with all quality and power for which the The Gathering is famous,
addition of many new elements. The sound is led by guitar,
alive and immediate, a strong album with amazing and beautifully colored
female voice. It is produced by guitarist
René Rutten and mixed and mastered by Zlaya Hadzich
(which produced the "Souvenirs") and René. "

Yo soy recontra fan d ela banda y también de Anneke y reconosco que las canciones que canta Silje en el nuevo disco son muy buenas, pero lamentablemente cuando canta las de Anneke les sale mal, aunque creo que le sería dificil para cualquiera, la banda expectacular como siempre con las grandes atmósferas que nos tienen acostumbrados.

debes de tener razon no la he escuchado cantar las de Anneke, pero aun asi es muy buena, temia mucho quedar decepcionada cuando supe que andaban buscando vocalista, pero creo que hicieron una gran eleccion, espero pronto poder verlos en vivo con las nuevas Vocalistas y este estilo un poco diferente n_n
