@mkwilliams Newt is a progressive, just like Bush 43 and, Obama. Newt embraces big government. Newt also thinks FDR was the greatest modern day president. He also thinks Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt are great presidents too. No more needs to be said about Newt being a conservative. So, yeah pick the apple from the tree.

@arubberball We are living the mistakes of the "fresh apple". What has this "new blood" in the White House gotten us? Newt has forgetten more than these "new bloods" know today about government, the US Constitution, US history, parlimentary procedure, World history, small business (he owns 4).

You want a fresh apple you pick it from the tree. We need new blood, and people who believe in the constitution. I like Newt, but he has baggage. We need conservatives first then party. We can't afford republicans like Bush and McCain any more. I call, write, and e-mail all the time. It's time to purge the system of these moderates.

I understand believe me. But HOW???

Newt told you how if you listen.

He told you to stand by your convictions. He told you to stand up to the big spenders and make THEM back down.

You don't have to trust, or agree with everything he does.

I certainly don't.

ITS THE MESSAGE. He was helping get the point across. HE was USEFUL in that. If HE can promote our message, this is GOOD. Can YOU get on national TV???

Now call/write congress like Newt said.

I trust none of them inside the Beltway of Washington. The spending must stop was the message! The tea parties was supposed to be free of politicians, that was my point.

The ORIGINAL WAS ALL ABOUT POLITICS as were these.

All parties have been at fault for a VERY LONG TIME.

And its OUR fault

I understand trust, I have been back stabbed far more than you unless you are older than you seem. I also understand "national emergency" and we have one right now. They have dumped enough money in the last 6 months to equal 1 million a DAY for the past 2000 years.

So we need to ask, not who do you trust but who is most trustworthy?

Who do YOU trust?

The Tea Party's was suppose to be free of politics.Both Democrats and Republicans are at fault. Newt is part of the old guard. Trust is everything period.

Trust is not an issue the issue is was he correct. I think he was.
