Wow, you went way to far. You don't have to follow the religion but at least respect it. I respect all kinds of religions because thats what people believe in!! I don't see how you could hate on somebodys religion. That's awful. @Courtnerz We cant respect religion because it is the perfect example of wolf in sheep's. Religion starts with love and miracles and ends in crusades, the inquisition and many other wars. For the sake of humanity we cant let religion get too far and besides when ever an atheist comes by christians are the first ones lighting the torches and grabbing pitchforks like we were some kind of monters of morality

@Courtnerz I agree, but only when religion doesn't press on everyday life, which it does. You've seen the dangers of theocracy in history before. We agnostics and atheists have to stand our ground and make sure that won't happen, and we don't get blown over by these religious cults that try to win us over, as if we would ever let that happen. Our expression of our agnostic and atheistic view is just the equivalent of you Christians preaching to us about God's magical ways.

As for contraception, Brazil had spent decades educating its people to use contraceptives, and family sizes were finally becoming manageable. The pope visited for a few days, declared contraception against god, and contraception use plumetted leading to a massive increase in family sizes and poverty. The church proscribes, it doesn't wish. And it threatens those who do not conform.
