@Phatphatyo The outside wires of the cord, go to the outside wires of the block.. The middle is neutral and the two outside legs are hot.

Does it matter which of the outside wires goes on which outside prong? I figure the center goes to the center but do the outside ones matter? Ie can it be backwards?
