IMDB doesn't say it was a TV movie, so I'm guessing it may have spent a week or two on the big screens, then quickly went to video.

Surprisingly it's not that rare. I rented it on Netflix. Had to wait a week or so, but I finally got to see Adrian dance this particular style! It's cheesy but fun, and kind of a blast from the past.
